Ran a bunch of tests through some birch plywood and this mill actually made super clean cuts. Tried throwing some maple at it and had really good performance. Clean edges and I made sure the plunge depth was deep enough to get the entry beyond the upcut portion. Laterat cuts didn't chip or tear out. So far so good and will see how long I can run this bit for.

This bit has worked pretty well so far. It’s true to size and cut through white oak on my CNC without issue. It’s holding its edge with no burnout. So far so good! I’m glad I picked this up

I ordered this 1/8" up cut spiral bit to do the final through cuts in my CNC projects. I really like the way up cut spiral bits perform for this purpose and this bit does an excellent job. I find that the spiral flutes lift chips away from the workpiece and help prevent clogging which allows for faster, cleaner cuts.I've been impressed by the durability that the DLC-Glit+ coating brings to the bit on top of the already durable solid carbon construction. After completing several jobs the bit is still super sharp and shows now signs of wear. The only concern I have is that carbon bits are known to be tough but brittle and combined with the 1/8" thickness I have been purposely avoiding pushing the bit too hard by making extra passes rather than cutting real deep on each pass. I'm taking this extra step because I want this bit to last a long time and I feel its worth the little bit of extra time it takes to complete each job.I have several of the Aoranto bits and so far I've been impressed by the performance of every one of them.

I own many different brands of CNC bits and Aoranto by far has the best packaging, mainly because it includes a paper that lists the specs for feeds and speeds of all their bits. Super convenient and to me, adding that says a lot about the company wanting to make sure their customers have a good experience with their products. This bit is very sharp and the added coating will certainly help with the durability. The price point is competitive and fair for the quality.I've only been able to use it for a quick template but the results were great. Will update my review if anything about my expectations of it changes, but I'd be surprised if that happens. The only thing about this bit I would like some clarity on is whether or not the shank is solid. Not being able to find that anywhere leads to believe it's not solid.

I ordered the DL23112 1/15” downcut spiral CNC router bit for use with my large CNC carving machine. I have a large Shapeko CNC machine where I carve a variety of projects from flags to 3D carvings. I especially like this bit as it has a ¼” shank with the smaller 1/16-inch bit. Having a ¼” shank allows me to keep the same collet in the router and only need to change out the bits as I refine my projects to where I would use this smaller bit. The bit performed well after making sure I adjusted the plunge rate, speed, etc. to ensure that I didn’t push the bit and end up breaking it. The bid worked well on the soft wood I used it on so far and produced good detail.

This is my first bit from this manufacturer, and from the test cuts I've made so far I am very impressed. The cut profile is very sharp and defined (which you would hope for, given the compression nature of the spiral profiles. This 1/8" diameter bit will likely see use in making dado grooves for back panels in cabinets. The included plastic box is probably the nicest one I've received in terms of sturdiness and protection.Since these bits are also (if not mainly) meant for CNC users, there's some helpful detailed print instructions regarding speeds and feeds. Obviously there's a limit to how much I can apply that guidance since I'm feeding stock by hand on my router table, but I do appreciate having it nonetheless.Carbide or not, these are narrow bits, so a reminder to other woodworkers like me - be gentle on the little fellow! I speak from experience that it's all too easy to accidentally snap a thin profile bit by hogging too much too fast, and that's with straight cutters that eject chips more easily than this predominantly down-flute design.I think that, given the long-life coating, under thirty bucks is not bad for a bit of this quality. You can tell a decent amount about cutters based on how they're packaged and what information comes with them, and everything about this one inspires confidence.

Was looking for a longer cutting length bit for deeper cuts that I sometimes need to do with a smaller diameter bit. This is a bit I wont use often, but when I need it, its nice to have. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a high end bit as the longer cut length makes it more prone to breaking and its not one that will see high volume use. This one fit the bill as it is coated but at a great price to where I wont cry if I accidently break it. First use, it cut smooth and have no complaints.

Doh! So I broke this bit.....not the fault of the bit but of my stupidity! Sucks because this is a nice cutting bit too. I thought it would be a good idea to use this bit to cut some 1/2" dowel holes. I cut the holes on the inside of my design not thinking about the 1/8" bit versus a 1/2" hole. This left another "dowel" in the center of the hole which ended up getting caught between the side of the hole and the bit, snapping the bit off. I swapped to a 1/4" bit to cut the 1/2" holes, leaving no "dowel" in the middle. Problem solved, but now down one fine-cutting bit :-(Highly recommend this brand of bits. Every single one I have gotten cuts beautifully, is built well, has a great coating and is a great value for the money! The compression bit cuts very nicely as well!
