They consistently make the best cut possible without running out on you. This is just one more of the ToolPro line of professional drywall tools for those who make their living with their hands.

They are really good.. but some break within the first day of use. Be gentle and dont press so hard against the wood so hard!

Ideally this would be a completely un-starred review - not because of any lack of quality, but because I can't really give a fair or informed review of the product for it's intended purpose. It may well be a five star (or a one star) product if it's really the sort of cutter you're looking for, but - due to some similarities in naming, and a careless idiot (who absolutely, definitely, and at least probably looks nothing at all like me) skimming over the description instead of reading it all - it wasn't that tool for me.What I _can_ do is to say that if you've got a CNC rig, have been searching for down-cut end mills (center-cutting, even - after all, it says it's perfect for plunge cuts!), and think you just found a fantastic deal on them... Well, you didn't. (or, well, maybe you did... but this isn't it)Yes, these are downcut bits, but being intended (as you'll learn by reading the description more carefully than I did) for drywall, the flutes are far too delicate to cut even soft pine or MDF, never mind hardwoods or metal, and just sort of fold over (making the differences in geometry between spiral saws & end mills something of a moot point). What's more, the plunge cutting tip is an un-fluted bullet shape - presumably excellent for inserting in starter holes (or, I would imagine, for brutally slamming holes in walls - which could be a great stress reliever), but useless not only for plunge milling, but for any horizontal milling that would cause engagement on the lower .125" or .25ish" of the cutter.So... Don't be like me. Read the whole description _before_ the cutter's chucked up in the spindle of the wrong tool, working on the wrong material, and you're scratching your head trying to figure out why it's sitting there burning that nice chunk of cherry instead of cutting it.(and I'll try to eventually use the bits as intended so I can amend this review... just as soon as I find a spot where no one will notice me cutting big gaping holes in their walls)
