The top portion of the length of cut, closest to the shank, has a left hand spiral, forcing chips down.
Using Tips:--- Make sure the end mil is securely seated and tightened. Use an appropriate coolant or lubricant to enhance chip evacuation and heat dissipation.
--- Excessive heat can affect tool life and performance. Monitor and control the cutting parameters, ensure proper cooling or lubrication and effective chip evacuation to prevent clogging.

Great set of bits. Fit good and has cut very well. Comes in a protective box and the bits have been very reliable and sturdy.

I saw this as a wonderful opportunity to explore a good selection of V-bits. The offering comes with 2 V-bits each in 5 different “V” angles (20, 30, 45, 60, and 90 degrees). They are 1/8” shaft size bits which make them easy to use with lower power spindles. The various angle bits do give your work different looks. Which one you prefer has to do with the project you are cutting and your artistic preferences.These are nice affordable bits which allow you to explore the impact of V-bit angle in your projects. I am really enjoying them.

So these bits seem to work well on acrylic. It's the only material I've had a chance to use them with but I'm happy with the results. You've got a variety of angles to make a variety of engraving paths. Overall a pretty nice little set of bits.

These are well made and I really like getting the different angles of engravers in one kit, makes it easy to try a few different tools to see which gives the best effect for your job.

the 3 corner chip of the bit allows you to run slower rpm for the same chip load. they cut clean but have nit used them. I got the variety but now I think ill have little use for 90 or 60 unless I'm trying to scratch (engrave) acrylic or brass. the 45, 30 and 20 degree will come in handy to carve tiny text or details in some of my detailed carvings. Definitely nice to have when that "I wish I had" moment occurs.

Downcut bits are great for leaving a good surface finish. These OUYANG bits have an unusual surface finish appearance but work great! I'm trying to take better care of my bits by finding the sweet spot between burning the MDF / MDO and not driving so fast or deep that I snap a bit. They are nicely individually boxed in standard holders. I think they are a great value for the price. I have only used these in wood / MDF. Recommend.
