I used these to cut thin material like balsa and light-ply for rc aircraft. Since it's a spiral up-cut bit, it tends to lift soft material like balsa up while its cutting it, but not so much for light-ply, so a double-flute straight end mill bit is better for cutting thin balsa sheets. With that said, these work great and are very durable.

I've had these for a while but hadn't had a challenging CNC project for 1/8" diameter end mills -- until my granddaughter asked me to cut out a three-letter monogram. The bit did a superb job in 3/8" plywood and also in structural foam -- a more challenging material that hides NO mistakes. There were no knockouts, tear-outs, wobbles or other edge damage in either material even though I ran the machine at quite a fast rate of travel.I haven't tried these in aluminum or other soft metals, but I have no problem giving them my unqualified "thumbs up" for precision cutting.

These are just great, Work really well in my CNC machine and when i have to touch something up in my dremel. Worth every penny.

This is a great set of bits that can be used for larger stock pieces as one of them is as large as 65 mm long. I also like the various sizes included in the kit along with the overall strength of these bits. Its a very good kit that most CNC users would find extremely useful in their tool collection. I use them in a Genmitsu 4040-Pro machine and they work very well for the projects I do. I needed longer ones for a deep jewelry box I am building and these will work well for that. Overall very happy with this kit and I would buy in future.

I used them to make some cam clamps and hold-downs using 1/2 inch rough plywood. The bits worked very well resulting in flat bottoms and sharp top edges. The cutouts and pockets were cleanly cut. Note that all of these bits have the same diameter, it's only the length that varies. I recommend them.
