My only complain is people packing these. Since it is not sealed if you put them on the side in a box it will leak. I received 5 items leaking in the shipping box. The product is very good it fixed the leaks.

Quality product, easy to apply, forms a nice cosmetic long lasting seal around chimney and vent boots

This stuff seems phenomenal , I applied it [ Colorado ] we have had a very wet 2023 Summer , now it [ October ] seems like a drought again . Go figure ... however after EVERY storm this year [ by the way , I did the flashing on my chimney ] it has been soaked and getting to my cinder block foundation . This is not good . Anyway , after this last heavy rain , I looked , behind fireplace ... perfecto ! This stuff sealed my chimney base , so far so good and it applies very easily .The application is VERY easy , it is water based , dries like oil based , that is seems strong , not lingering wet .By the way , other reviews say the paint brush is shot afterwards , not if you wash it pretty soon after application , it is acrylic , so it washes away . Mine did ... so far so good , we will see next Spring . I think it's a winnerThanks

The only way to properly do a crown coat is to tape off the area because the stuff is like tar and once you put the coat on, there’s no going back and touching up until it fully cures. If you go back and touch it with your paint brush trying to fix spots it’s just going to get worse and worse and worse. Wait until it dries and go back into a second coat. Yes it’s a messy job but it’s a quick cheap fix. Use a wire brush make sure you clean the crown before you apply insure a good seal. The product itself works great. They should be paying me for such a great review, but it’s the truth.
