Compared to the disposable cans with straws these are much better. The gun orientation makes it easier to use for me including getting into corners. These contain twice the product as those disposable cans and you can actually re use what's left later which is virtually impossible with the other cans. It does require the applicator gun and your also going to want a can or two of cleaner but it's worth it for the reusability.

I'm working on insulating parts of my house and this was a great deal. Thankfully, all the cans arrived intact and there weren't any issues. Each can worked perfectly. If you have a large project in front of you, I recommend this!

This is used with a gun and you get a lot more foam for your buck than the individual cans with the little straw applicator. The are fine for a once and done job. If you have to foam a lot, buy the gun. Be sure to buy a can of cleaner of it will ruin you gun after sitting a day or so. Remove the can from the gun. The can will spew out a little foam. Use the red spray cap on the cleaner to clean out the excess foam from the can. Now clean off the excess foam from the gun connection point and the tip. Finally, attach the cleaner can to the gun and spray until clear. Remove can but do not spray out the cleaner left in the gun. It is under pressure and will continue to clean. Store in an outside location as the cleaner will slowly seep out and smells.

It says it and the name, GREAT STUFF! Though it is pricey it's value will pay you back in the long run. If you purchase the injection gun made for these cans each can will go a long long way! I bought a case of cans and the injector and I'm still on my second can. There's not a crack left in the house or foundation. This product is not your every day but the store this is superior you you've used before having the ability to work it in there like a welder or a painter filling gaps and cracks little to none is wasted.

Given that this product promoted for sealing air leaks in confined spaces such as attics, crawl spaces, rim joists it is incomprehensible that it is packaged in a tall skinny can! Can + gun height is over 16 inches. For sealing my rim joists I resorted to using combination of this product and the much shorter and much cheaper spray can version for tight spaces (see photo for comparison of spray can height vs this version) only to discover spray can version also seriously flawed (will review separately). That said, if access not constrained the actual foam does the job nicely when attached to a reasonable spray gun. Is very sticky and does not expand too much. Cleanup with acetone until product dries at which point mechanical removal required. Firmly attaches itself to skin- I literally had to use sandpaper to get it off my hands after some had dried there so skin and eye protection are a must.Dow seems to have many formulations of this foam between the so-called "Pro" versions and the less expensive versions in the applicator cans and it is nearly impossible to judge which is best or what you are trading off when you choose one version vs the other. This version cures to a rigid foam.Buying case of 12 cans is at this writing about 60% cost of buying single cans at Home Depot. Ordered Dec 18 and arrived Dec 23rd.

It works great as a gap filler. If your looking to do a spray on application this is not great stuff. It will not stick by itself. If your looking to fill gaps and cracks it is great stuff.
