It fit perfectly in my 05 beetle 2.0 L. I was getting a flashing blue light so I replaced the thermostat and the sensor - it seem to solve my problem.

The thermostat worked on my VW but a few days later I had the light go back on again. Everything worked fine but reset it a couple of times. Unfortunately the VW would not pass emissions. Tried and OEM VW and the problems cleared. My mechanic said that some VWs can be touchy. I'd buy from these guys again. I think VW specs are probably set to tight.

It's a thermostat lol.its also a cheap thermostat so don't expect a German quality replacement.key is it works and that's why it gets 5 stars.it does its job for the price I was willing to pay at the moment.it leave a lot to be desired quality wise but again it works,don't let bad reviews send you away from this product,it does what it should for a small price.

Replaced the thermostat on my Jetta because the temperature gauge on the dash was showing cold at all times. Turns out that the temp sensor wires has frayed and just needed to be re-soldered. Oh, well. This thermostat has nonetheless worked perfectly and gives me one less thing to worry about. Temperature is as described, perfect fit and comes with a competent gasket. I'll update if it fails but I expect it to be fine.

Perfect fit for 2008 Audi TT 1.8l. Fit and finish were good. Gasket was high quality and fit perfectly. I did check the thermostat in hot water before installing (I've had new ones fail before). It started to open (that I could see) at the appropriate rating, so that's perfect. Came in typical thin paperboard box, but that's standard.
