the thermostat appears to be well made, however it DOES NOT fit the 95 K2500 diesel suburban as promised. the thermostat is literally too small and falls into the installation site.

The thermostat arrived much earlier than expected and allowed me to get my truck back on the road a few days sooner. Even an easy installation can be difficult if you don't have proper tools and replacement parts. The thermostat I received was a perfect fit which made installation extremely easy. If you are experiencing a similar problem on a similar vehicle, I highly recommend ordering this thermostat.

Fit my 93 silverado with a 305. This thermo is a 195 which is good for winter unfortunately i didnt see or they didnt tell you it was a 195 but still works great for a summer one i would try to find a 180 or 185

The product arrived with an o ring installed on the thermostat in the box. I was thinking I had a bad temp sending unit for the gauge but the problem was the old motorad thermostat that was opening prematurely. The engine was never reaching an operating temp of 195 which helps explain the poor fuel economy lately. Even if I have to replace the AC Delco every few years I think it is a better part than the motorad. I would recommend AC Delco for the thermostat.

This is what I got. It's not really AC Delco. It seems to be a GM part. I know AC Delco supplies parts to GM, but I don't know what the deal is with how this thing's packaged. It came with the seal and that's good because picture shows that it comes with a seal and the text says it comes with the seal. It is also stamped made in the USA. All good things. That's why I've given it five stars. I have questions, however, as to whether it's going to fit because the listing says it is 58.7 mm and it is stamped 54 mm. If it doesn't fit I will come back and certainly revise my review. Purchased for a 92 k2500 5.0 l.Edit:. It fit my truck just fine.

The review is asking me on "warmth" and "sheerness". First off, the thermostat is keeping my vehicle working at an optimal temperature. Everything has been perfect, even months later. "Warmth", idk, I'm getting an average heat that I normally would with any other thermostat. "Sheerness",...what? Overall, performance has been great for the price.
