This is Honda/Acura's genuine part, made by Nippon Thermostat. This is very reliable and would probably last over 150,000 miles. It comes with a new seal, which I usually coat with silicone lube. I only wish this was a bit less expensive.

This is indeed a factory OEM thermostat, however on top of the Honda label, is a rebranded Aisin label. With a little searching, you can save $20 and get the Aisin from Amazon and receive the exact same part. Hope this helps someone.

Fit perfect, easy install.I read several review of aftermarket thermostats not being 100% compatible w/ Acura/Honda. This went in w/ no issues.

There can be issues with aftermarket thermostats so I chose to purchase the original oem part. I figure I can splurge a few extra bucks for the Acura part by doing the labor myself. It was worth the piece of mind. It can be difficult to get the thermostat housing off but there are youtube videos showing how to do it. also it helps to have a set of stubby wrenches as there is not much clearance to get the rear bolt off.
