My granddaughter was having a problem with her check engine light coming on. The codes said the engine wasn't warming up fast enough. The first thought I had was to replace the thermostat. I ordered, received, and installed this unit and it solved the problem.

So, 2009 has a split year and only factory replacements are available. It was a challenge to find this part. Make sure that you have the exact thermostat. This one is the right one. Very grateful, after other orders were incorrect.

Was grate and still working, tried 3 different brands from the brick and mortar stores and they were junk didn’t last a month. Should have just went with the factory one to start with. Cause it lasted 160k miles..

Although amazon said it didn't fit, it was the exact part for my 2011 Kia Forte. Also, was genuine and exact in appearance to the one being replaced.

This was an original oem thermostat and amazon would not cover what i paid to get thermostat instaled then removed cause it was a bad thermostat they gave me the cost back and $10 voucher not worth the hastle some things are left better to get done at a garage all i was trying to do is save money but not comprimissing quality ,lets just say it backfired on me
