I put the MotoRad 160° Thermostat in my 2012 Camaro SS and it works great. Much cheaper than factory units and built very eell. I'm very happy with it!

These thermostats are of very good quality and work as advertised. But they have one minor flaw and it's not the stat but the seal, it will not fit in the oem housing because it's diameter is to thick. Compared to an original seal you can see the big difference. So. I suggest you reuse oem seal to save yourself the frustration of trying to get the Rad seal to work.

March 31, 2020.I installed this thermostat in February 20ish 2020 in my 2009 Silverado LT 5.3 along with a new Gates Water Pump, (no other mods), to maintain my engine and trans at a safer temp. I hardly ever hear my fan come on evan when my A/C is on. OEM Thermostat, 195.UPDATE!!! 4 months later Sept. 19, 2020, from 1st post. I drive the Silverado hard, with the A/C on and in the extreme heat temp of the south and still no issues. Winter is near, I'll update again.
