Original tstat started masturbation with truck running hot under tow. Tstat was binding per several you tube videos. Easy install and problem solved. Highly recommend.

I changed out my thermostat in my 3.5 eco boost and couldn’t tow without overheating. Ordered this thermostat and installed it. It solved the overheating issue in this finicky motor.

Bought mine from Rockauto to replace the defective factory thermostat. Before my truck would hit temperature of over 220 on the highway. Some folks on the internet say that’s fine for a 3.5 ecoboost but I wasn’t happy with it. I swapped to the updated part from ford like you see here and now it seldomly gets above 205. Obviously there was a design change for a reason.If you’re having temperature issues like I was, start here first.

Fit and worked perfectly. A word of caution. Make sure you get the correct gasket for this thermostat. There seems to be 3 or 4 options for this application.
