I decided to change my T stats this year just as prevented maintenance. Easy install and no leaks. Works normal during operation.

Bought these for an overheating issue. Completed the installation along with checking all water jackets. But I continued to run hot. After 2 frustrating weeks, a mechanic suggested checking the new thermostats. One opened at 160°+ and the other even higher. Neither opened at 69c or 140F. Ran the motor without the thermostats and NO overheating. Replaced them with OEM and all is perfect. My experience only, was not good.
