The product uses high sensitivity photoelectric sensor to detect smoke and high stability electrochemical co sensor to detect carbon monoxide.
Once your living places have carbon monoxide or smoke, once one of them reaches its alarm sensitivity, it will give out both sound alarm and LED indication to warn you that you have to take action to avoid it.
Checking the working condition of the detector and precautions

When the detector does not detect smoke or carbon monoxide, the LCD display will remain static and will only show the value in case of emergency alarm. To determine if the detector is working properly, a flashing green light indicates that the unit is in normal operating condition.

You can place it in a dark environment. Observe whether the green indicator light flashes every few tens of seconds. So it's the working state
Ceiling mounting is preferred in ordinary residential construction.
When mounting an alarm on the ceiling locate it at a minimum of 4”(10cm) from the side wall.
If installing the alarm on the wall, at a minimum of 4”(10cm) and a maximum of 12”(30.5cm) below the ceiling.

I am in the process of getting them put up,easy to install. It saves me money to be able to get the smoke/ carbon monoxide detector and I only have to install one detector instead of two.

Does work. When you test it, the test button alerts however when we had smoke fill our home it never went off. My husband decided to test it again today. The test went off with no problem but as he was cooking and smoke was filling the kitchen, he placed it near the stove and still did not go off. Do not count on this to save you. I was hoping we found a solution since this is the second time we have had a fire or “campfire smoke” overnight while we were sleeping and thankfully hubby smelled it and was able to save us while I was out (I am on oxygen) please find one that is reliable and that works.

Easy to install. Like that they are for smoke and carbon monoxide. The flashing light to show it's working is not overly bright or obnoxious.

Very nicely made, and loud alarm. My friend had it up in a few minutes for me now I fell safer, living alone knowing I have working fire alarms again!!💕💕 It’s in the high upper left corner of photo.
