Need a band saw tier replacement? Choose our tier!

Our tires are made of high-quality urethane, they are durable and flexible, not crack, peel or harden. Urethane tires have other advantages as they can tightly fit onto the wheel by using glue, and they will not dry. Colored bright safety orange for easy inspection. These advantages make it possible to make the tire work in a long term.

If your new band saw tire is too tight to fit onto the wheel, submerged the new tire under warm or hot water for a few minutes, it will make things easier. And then you'll need to get it onto the wheel quickly. You can also use clamps and stick to help you install them.

How to Install Your Urethane Band Saw Tires

1. Make sure to unplug your band saw whilst changing any parts or servicing it.

2. Urethane band saw tires don’t require adhesive, but they do need to be stretched on.

3. Remove the old tires, and clean the machine of any dirt, debris, or adhesive.

4. The tires can be fitted by stretching them on by hand.

5. If you can’t get the tires on by hand stretching them, clamp the tires to the wheel. Work the tire around the wheel in both directions and add clamps as you go. Or soak it into hot water for a few minutes.

6. A dowel rod or smooth tool can be used to pry the tire on.

7. Once the tire is securely on the wheel, the stretch will need to be smoothed out.

8. With a dowel between the tire and the wheel, roll it around the entire wheel.

Easy installation and brought back the life of my old band saw. Good grip on the blade and more accurate tracking. My old tires were dry rotting and this seems to have been a great replacement and only time and use will tell me if this was the right purchase. So far it has been.

Bought a used craftsman bandsaw and there were several little things that made the saw unusable. These tires improved running considerably and now the saw is as smooth as I could hope. This is not due only to the tires as I had to replace a built, realign the pulleys, replace a couple thrust bearings, and replace a drive key. All together brought this saw to like new performance and it's as old as me. All in in I'm still ahead money-wise with a better saw than if I'd just bought a new one.

These tires fit perfectly on the wheels of my old Craftsman bandsaw. After soaking in warm water, 3 spring clamps, a couple flat bladed screw drivers and aggressive stretching, they went on and perfected seated within the flanges, they went on as expected. They will work far better than the original rubber tires.

They were hard to put on very stiff but we prevailed and got them on. Good value if you use your muscles I expect them to be stiff just they were less forgiving than rubber
