√ When do canning, please leave at least 1 inch headspace, and just keep the lids fringer tight, do not over tightened lids.

I am new to canning and was pleased with the purchase. They worked great in water bath canning! All jars/lids sealed and none of them broke! A little spendy for the amount of jars you get but it was worth it, especially since they were scarce to find in local stores.

Nice jars, using as drinking glasses for tea/pop this summer, use one as bacon grease jar in fridge. Thick glass and good for my uses.

I am going to use these jars for storing left-over paint. The can the paint came in is worn and I amno longer able to close the lid properly for storage. Fingers crossed that these jars will protecct the paint and keep it from drying out between uses.

I bought these jars to replace the ones I had been using in my fridge to organize my seeds and pickled foods and fruits. The size is just perfect and they keep everything fresh and organized. I have also used a few jars for pickling vegetables and they create a tight seal with no leakage. I am extremely satisfied with these jars.
