I have bought these jars over the years and have been pleased with the quality and reliability. However, of my recent order of two boxes of the "VERONES Mason Jars 4oz with Regular Lids" and caps for canning, one of the boxes arrived damaged and filled with broken jars and bent rings. The intact and undamaged box was filled with jars that had sharp edges where the seam of the jar comes together, and most of the screw on rings would not fit properly to the jars, making the rings useless. The caps were all sound, and seem to be of a good, thick quality. But I paid for the rings and expected them to be useable. I ordered another set of jars thinking that I just got a bad batch. However, the second box of jars was of equally poor quality and had to be sent back. I'm disappointed, but will not order from this company again.

Wow we are in love with this mini jars 😍 we are using them for a Quinceañera as gifts for the guest . They are a great size for the price although we received two pieces broken . We will be buying them again. Hopefully the second set won't be damaged. Overall very satisfied with the product.

I bought these jars for a scouting project and they are exactly what we need. We made darling candles and they worked perfectly. When the box arrived, one jar was broken, which wasn't super surprising and I was planning to just toss it and forget it, but I emailed the customer service and they actually refunded me a dollar for the broken jar. I will definitely buy again for other projects!

40 canning jars for $30 is a great deal. These jars are similar to Ball mason jars - a little thinner - but close. The lids and rings are interchangeable with Ball jars. I used them to make sous vide egg bites, and they worked just fine. No broken jars. Because I knew I would submerge my jars, I purchased the ones with the two-part lids. If I were using them for non-cooking applications, I would have bought the ones with one-piece lids. (You save a dollar or two.)The jars are decorative. A crafty person could think of a thousand ways to use them for party favors, homemade jam, etc.I recommend washing them before their first use.

I like to buy some things in bulk. One of them is spices. I have a jar vacuum sealer and between leaving a small amount in an original container - I can split up and seal the remainder. So - not only are they very handy - they are very affordable! I highly recommend!

These containers are lovely and do not have writing on the lids making perfect gift jars. I use them for jello or pudding deserts and with tight lids travel well to picnics and parties. Eliminates scooping and mess. Everyone gets their own desert. Works wonderful for layered deserts too. A must have.

It is a struggle to screw on the lids for these jars. Aligning them so that the lids go on straight and secure is difficult. I question how good of a seal we'd get if they were not on perfectly.

I am a little torn writing this review....I needed about 40 small jars for some apple butter that I was in the middle of making, and I needed them shipped the same day. I read a number of the reviews and decided this was the right set of jars, with caveats. Some reviews talked about the seal not being great. Others talked about the lids being sharp. I didn't want so.ething that didn't seal and resulted in blood everywhere. So in addition to these jars, I also got the Ball lids, no rings. If i didn't need them for this, great. If I did, even better, I'd have them on hand.I am glad I got them.The lids that come with these jars are indeed very sharp. Even taking them off resulted in some near misses. Had I not known going in that they would be sharp I would have hurt myself. These lids also DO NOT have the button in the center that you can use to check if the seal has been made. I didn't realize this was the case. I would have been upset if I hadn't already planned on getting other lids. Someone had complained about the rim rusting right away. I had this happen to one of my jars, but it also happened with a Ball jar that I had bought previously. You just have to make sure to wipe them down well after they cool. Really get into the rim to clean it out.Over all, I cannot speak to how well these seal. I can say that the jars came on time (same day shipping) and they were packaged well. None of mine arrived broken. I was able to use them for the intended purpose. I would buy the jars again for sure. They are still an amazing price. And the convince of buying them in time for same day shipping was perfect.
