I love this bit so much, it’s the perfect size for my quarter pony. He caught his bridle on the trailer and bent the crappola out of it though. The metal was pretty soft. He broke his bridle and the bit is unusable. Just another day with horses lol.

I went to the used option for this bit and I found it too small for my horse. He has another shank bit I use that is 4-5/8, but I really love the correction bits, so I was excited when I saw this. He wasn’t happy, and once I measured the two bits together, I realized it was a 4-3/4 not a 4-5/8, so sent it back with no problem.Now I’m wondering about ordering the new one, but I’m scared it will also be too small. Hard to believe the small difference in measurements is so important, but it is.
