The Urethane Bandsaw Tires stretch to fit without glue making installation easy! Plus, urethane won't suffer from dry rot and because they're not made of the usual rubber, they'll stay flexible longer to increase the performance of your blade. The long-lasting tires improve blade tracking and extends blade life. Their bright orange coloring makes them easy to inspect and they come with a lifetime warranty on the welds. The Urethane Band Saw Tire is 1" wide and may be trimmed to fit. Also fits 14" Bandsaw.

Fit perfectly, I think they last a long time and won’t dry out like the rubber ones.

All went very well, thank you!!! I immersed in 140 degree water for a few min and they went on wheels easy and fast. New Blade, new cool blocks and this old band saw is running quiet and cuts like when it was new 30 years ago .Dont have any idea how long these will hold up but they look tuff and I think they will be just fine. I recommend. Bob.

My bandsaw is a very old Delta, actually branded "Rockwell", from the mid 80's. Still had the original rubber tires on it, so I decided it was time for a couple upgrades. These tires, and some Cool blocks being the first. Tires went on absolutely without a hitch. I followed the suggestions to warm them first. I just put them in a basement utility sink with the hottest water that came from the tap. (seems to be a little hotter than it should be actually) Anyway, I let the water run until it was as hot as it was going to get, put the stopper in, dropped in the tires, and covered them with plenty of the hot tap water. Let them sit for a few minutes, and they went on perfectly. I always felt the directions were for the end consumers benefit anyway. They say warm them up. I did. NO issues! I had thoroughly cleaned the wheels prior to installation, and I also used my wood padded bench vise to hold the wheels at the bottom of their circumference after pulling the new tires into the groove at the bottom. Then I simply used a round scratch awl, slipped under the tire, to pull the tires up and around the wheels, while sliding them sideways and into the rest of the groove. Using the padded vise obviously prevented the bottom half of the tire from slipping sideways. I'd guess at maybe 15 seconds to install each tire once the wheel was in place in my vise. Pulled the wheelout, run my fingertips all the way around both side to ensure the tire was properly seated, and re-installed the wheels. Blades run absolutely true, with no vibration, and tracking is awesome. I'm very happy with the tires from Rockler!

The product is as advertised. I put them on my Grizzly G0555 14" bandsaw. The package says they will still fit give or take 1/2". I would think that is circumference rather than diameter. You have to heat them in water to 140 degrees. Less and they are too difficult to stretch, more and you run the risk of either scalding yourself or permanently stretching them. I used a laser thermometer, the water did not scald me, and I was able to easily mount them by hand. No tools. just a pot of water and the thermometer. The first one took me several tries, the second just went on in less than a minute. The saw runs great and it's quieter. I had the old rubber original equipment tire for about 6 years before they rotted off, cracked and dry. Very pleased, a definite improvement. Less expensive than going through Grizzly, and an upgrade to performance.

After 30 years I decided to replace the tires on my Delta 14, so I ordered these new urethane tires. Installing them wasn't that difficult. Put the blade back on and could not get it to track at all. Long story short, these tires measure about .090" and I needed tires around .125" thick.

The installation could not be easier. I did not even bother to warm up the tires as you are supposed to. Just clamped the tire to the wheel using a wooden clamp, and then using two screwdrivers, levered the band a bit at a time onto the wheel. Would have been a little easier if there was someone else to keep the wheel from turning and knocking off the clamp, as I did not want it on too tight. It took me longer to get the old tire off and the wheel cleaned than to put on the new tires.

I put theses tires on my jet 14 inch band saw to help with blade tracking for the unit. it worked great! I like the profile as well of these tires, it makes using different blade widths faster to change out on the saw. I had a old set of theses on a minimax 24 in I've never had to mess with them yet.

Having a early 70s Delta bandsaw the tires were slipping on the wheels under load while cutting 6" Dodwood slabs for roofing on birdfeeders. I read the reviews on urathane tires and orded these. I replaced the tires in less thsn 10 minutes without removing the wheels from the saw. Follow the directions included and I used a round screwdriver to align the tire on each wheel while rotating the wheel by hand. Wear gloves and be careful. The saw runs smoother and blade alignment is much easier with the urathane tires. I am a life long woodworker with a life time of mechanical skills (age 67)so this was not a hard task for me. If you do not posess the skillsets I do it will probally take you longer to perform this task. Read the reviews from others for helpful advise. Thanks to Amazon and the vendor. The probuct is as advertised and arrived in a timely manner. I would buy from this vender again.
