the configuration of this unit is not the same as the OEM . The threaded rod was not the same. Had to adapt the OEM rod and use 2 spacer bolts to make the unit work. Maybe Jet made different models within the JWS 14 Pro2 line. Look carefully before you buy

I needed to replace the stripped threads on my JET bandsaw. This part worked with the exception of not being able to house my upper wheel. My old part was good except for the threads, so I removed the threaded rod and nut from this and I was up and running in no time. It kept me on track with my scheduled tasks.

Worked with my Rigid 14002 saw with slight modification to saw. New hinge has a 1/4 dia projecting shaft that has a roll pin in it. OEM hinge was flush. Had to cut a slot in saw cover to allow hinge to slide up and down without binding the new hinge. See the cutout I made in the cover in the photo to make it all fit and work. 10 min modification.
