I get better reception without it. I hooked it up and I get less channels and they now all shake. Glitch whatever you wanna call it they don’t come in good. Don’t waste your money.

I have an Omni directional antenna and I am able to pick up 84 local channels though some are duplicated. I thought by upping to 25db I could gain a bit more signal strength for a couple of the further away station transmitters. Just the opposite happened. It cut my scannable channels down to 32 and did nothing visible to increase gain.

I live about 45 miles from Atlanta (so the tv stations are a little further) I had a 13 dB amplifier and the picture would pixelate and drop out frequently and every time I changed channels I would get “signal search” for a couple of seconds. (Still get the signal search but it’s gone much faster, about a second)Only negative is I had to get a separate splitter (not a 2nd amplifier, just splitter) because I have 2 TVs
