The Pond Guy ClearSkim 7” Skimmer
The ClearSkim 7" Skimmer provides mechanical filtration to fit your pond! The ClearSkim 7" Filter Skimmer removes debris before it can settle to the bottom of your pond. The two stage mechanical filtration includes a filter mat and debris net. The pond skimmer houses and protects your pump and includes a faux rock lid. The Pond Guy ClearSkim is built to last!

I needed a skimmer for the new pond. With mine I have an external pump but this has lots of room for a submerged pump. I installed my auto fill inside. The filter pad is huge and the skimmer net-basket is bigger than it looks. A+++ on this item

This box is well made, but I sent it back as the shown dimensions are not correct. The side ridges in the bottom of the box decrease the overall internal size. Therefore my pump would not fit. My pump is 11 and 1/2 inches long and the internal length of the box is only about 10 and 1/2 inches.

Real review from a real pond guy.1..Very low opening requires digging a very deap hole2. Flap that is supposed to skim the water surface doesn't actually skim at all. 99% of the water goes in on the side getting a very low percentage of surface water3.all plastic very thin and light lid has blow off many times the box it's self is to thin deforms over time making it hard to live with4 . Line out is very low5. Very hard instillation6. poor instructions7. The pond guy products are very dominant in the pond industry 1000s of fake reviews misleading people into poorly made products8. All pond products iv use from this company are Chinese made9. Definitely doesn't seem like a product that was ever engineered by a real pond Guy

What I used this product ( pond skimmer box ) for my pond. This skimmer box is not worth the money I spent on it, it was very poorly made and the quality of the skimmer flap is horrible and there is no holes on the box to line up the skimmer flap to the box. Do not make the same mistake I did spend the extra money on a well known pond skimmer box.
