Yes, I purchased > $550 dollar pond skimmer that didn't come with the F-ing filter. I contacted Aquascape to get one and got ZERO help. My experience with Aquascape products and the company has been nothing short of a nightmare. I cannot emphasize enough how strongly I advise everyone to stay far, far away from this brand. From the low-quality products to their abysmal customer service, dealing with Aquascape has been a colossal waste of time and money.First and foremost, their products are simply not worth the price tag. The so-called "premium" materials they use seem to be nothing more than subpar components slapped together. My Aquascape skimmer was missing a lot of parts and got the middle finger of support, leaving me deeply disappointed.Again, customer service is a joke. When I attempted to contact them about the missing parts like this filter the in skimmer received, I was met with an infuriating run-around. They refused to provide any reasonable solutions to rectify the situation. Their lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction was utterly shocking.In an industry where customer satisfaction should be a top priority, Aquascape appears to be more interested in selling garbage than in providing quality products and services. My unfortunate experience with this company has left me sour and a firm resolution never to support them again.I highly recommend looking elsewhere for aquatic products and services. There are plenty of other reputable companies out there that genuinely care about their customers and deliver top-notch products. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by steering clear of Aquascape.I wholeheartedly suggest a 100% avoidance of Aquascape products and the company itself. Don't waste your money on their low-value products, and definitely don't bother hoping for any semblance of helpful customer service. Choose wisely and invest your money in a brand that values its customers and delivers on its promises.

Keeps pond debris from collecting around my pump which is in the skimmer

This works great for a season or two, but it cracks and breaks when I try to put it back in the skimmer because you have to bend it a bit to "seat" it. Because it only catches the larger stuff, a lot of debris and muck reach the pump, clogging it up. I tried cutting my own filter media out of a tighter density, but that didn't hold up very well. You need the stiffness of this filter media. So yes, it works for what it was intended but it doesn't hold up very well.

Doesn't hold up well, tears up when I try to maneuver it in and out to clean. But I need it, so gotta keep buying it.
