Rubner tuning machines are one of the best tuners that you can buy. They are a fantastic upgrade to any mandolin. They turn easily and hold where you set them, so there is no reason for a mandolin with them to be out of tune. Exempt, of course, that a mandolin will always be out of tune. ;^)
