When the original lid developed a crack in the edge, it lost its tight seal. This is an identical lid that fits perfectly and restores the functionality of my bowl. It came packed in a box of other Amazon items, so it wasn’t at risk for damage.

I measured to within fractions of a millimetre to make sure I would get a lid that fit. It did not fit.

I bought this to replace the top that came with my 100th Anniversary edition I bought from Costco. It was advertised to be 1.5 qt, but it is way too big, closer (but too small) to the 2.5 qt bowl. The bowl set I have is sculpted. Of all the research I did online prior to making the commitment to have it shipped to Europe, I could not have known this was the case. It seemed to me that all Pyrex bowls had the same tops for all quart sizes. Just look at the bottom of the bowl and order away. Definitely not the case for the sculpted bowl set. I hope anyone else looking for this particular lid replacement is now informed. But the seller was great, he sent it out promptly and it arrived in find condition and the quality was top notch.
