Very sturdy and nice size. The reason for a 4 star is the lid is not very flexible. Very hard plastic and hard to remove.

I love these for bulk fermentation of my sourdough. I fit enough dough for two large loaves in one of these containers and don't have any issues. The included lid is amazing too. Would highly recommend!

Glass is totally inert. I don't trust plastics especially when you are mixing in them. I make pizza dough in this bowl and never worry about contaminates. This bowl is made of thick glass and the lid seals very well. It's perfectly clear, glass is better!
