I gave this bowl 3 stars because of 2 things. 1. I haven’t been happy with the pour spout it’s small so you have to wait as it empties. If you try to dump fast it runs down the sides and onto the counter. 2. The measurement on the inside of the bowl started coming off after the first wash and I don’t use a dishwasher this was just sink washing. I do like the size and shape of the bowl. It’s very sturdy and with the rubber on the bottom it stays put.

Perfect size 4 qt, dishwasher safe, pretty, works great for cake batter or dough, lightweight, but easily grips to the counter with its grip bottom, easy to hold, durability, will last for years to come, white and gray, whichmatches most decor. I like the measurements on the inside of the bowl, very useful. While, not had mine long, the lettering has not came off yet. Very pleased thus far. Great great value for the money. Great product! Love mine.

It's a great Size bowl but when I went to use it today for the second time the numbers have worn off in the bowl ??? Has this happened to others??

This is a nice strong plastic measuring bowl. However, I have only used it twice and the measurements are fading off the side. I did not put it in a dishwasher, this is just hand washing with a dishwasher cloth and Dawn. Really disappointed in that.

I make soap at home and this bowl is perfect. It is large enough to make a big batch and sturdy so there is no accidental tipping over. Love it.

Seemed like a great bowl. I got ready to make cookies and stuck a stick of butter in the bowl and put it in the microwave for 20 seconds. When I pulled it out, and started to stir my cookies, the numbers came off into my batter. Apparently it’s not microwave safe, but I did not see that in the description

UPDATE: So all I have used this for was to let some bread dough rise. I just now was handwashing this bowl and the markings have smeared off! I wasn’t scrubbing with anything abrasive, just using a sponge. I used a standard dishwashing liquid that you buy at the grocery store. I’ll keep the bowl but those markings would have been helpful.ORIGINAL POST: I very carefully read the full product description and it indicates that this bowl is microwave safe. I just received the bowl and the symbol on the bottom indicates NOT to use it in the microwave. The bowl itself is very nice. Comfy handle, non-slip bottom, and a large capacity. I expect it will last a long time. However, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it. I bought it specifically for a recipe that needs to spend about 15 minutes in the microwave so I'm not sure I'm willing to try this out. And not sure that I'll find other uses for it since I live alone and it is really big. (Sadly, I broke a bowl of my mother's that I grew up with. It was used every Christmas. Broke my heart.)
