This item is misleading. The bowls are not solid metal as the written description suggests. They seem to be made of some other material that has a metal coating which easily scratches off. An Amazon customer rep only seemed helpful in returning this item once I advised them that it's illegal to sell this item as a set of "stainless steel bowls" in New Zealand under the Fair Trading Act - because it's reasonable for buyers to assume the product will be made of stainless steel, and not merely coated with stainless steel that scratches off

I wouldn't go so far as to call them flimsy but they are definitely on the thinner side when it comes to stainless steel mixing bowls. I like the variety of sizes and how compactly they nest together, however. A fine set of prep bowls as long as you pick them up on sale.

Great. Doesn't rust, sturdy, sometimes I was and dry then put up, sometimes I'm too lazy and wash and put it right in the dishwasher and in the back of my mind I'm like "I'm gonna f*** this bowl up." & Shockingly, it's shiny, clean, no rust, no water spots. Appearance is amazing. Each size is amazing. It's just great. I'm proud of myself

I've been searching for a long time for a good set of stainless mixing bowls. This set from JoyJolt is exactly what I needed! It has a good variety of sizes, is dishwasher safe and the whole set combined is lightweight yet very sturdy. I am so happy to have found this set and will enjoy using it!

Beware you won't be able to mix much in these bowls because they are so wide but low rather than deep. Might be good as cereal bowls if you like eating cereal out of different sized, metal bowls...
