This is an okay detector. Seems very well made and has a great and easy to read high contrast display. Humidity and temp readings seem quick and spot on. CO readings are a little on the slow side. Tested in the garage and my plug in CO detector across the room picked up before this did and i was right by the car exhaust. With that said, this thing did pick up about 20 seconds later so it definitely does work. And in all fairness, the plug in detector has been on the entire time and this thing was just booted up (even though it said it was "ready"). The voice prompts with bad grammar are a little annoying but it works nonetheless. Overall, not a bad unit for the price. Just wish CO detection was a bit faster.

The portable carbon monoxide detector is battery powered.It has a nice digital display. I bought this to use in my house in the winter when I have my gas furnace on. The good value detector seems to function nicely. It is easy to use, portable, and requires batteries.

I got this to check the CO level in my garage. I do have an alarm, of course, but I wanted to be able to test the actual level as well as ensure there was no leakage into my kitchen or the bonus room above.This is a handy tool for that! It is easy to operate and navigate, and it gives an actual PPM (parts per million) carbon monoxide level on the display. I tested it by taking a reading right after pulling into the garage, so I know it is working. I also have a small CO detector that I use for camping, and the readings between the two were very similar, so I’m confident in its accuracy.I was happy to see that it was still reading zero inside my kitchen (right at the door) as well as in several spots I checked in the bonus room above. Just to clarify, I didn’t run my car in the garage with the door closed or anything—that would be super dangerous! I simply took readings after a normal situation: pulling into the garage and shutting the car off immediately, as we always do.This tool would also be useful for checking your utility room (if you have gas heat or hot water) to ensure everything is venting properly, or to determine if you need to call a pro to check your furnace or water heater vent, for example.I'm happy with the build quality and operation of this tool, and it has earned a place in my tool drawer. Just remember, carbon monoxide is dangerous, so be careful and call a pro if you notice any readings where there shouldn’t be.

Sometimes I get worried about the smallest things and they just build. Have I ever had an issue with CO2? No, but I still worry about it. Gas stove downstairs and gas water heater in the upstairs attic. Having a mobile CO2 detector seems like a better idea than JUST having the stationary ones in various rooms. At least I'll be able to pinpoint the problem instead of a broader area.

If you run a generator in power outages, you should have one of these to make sure that sneaky CO2 doesn’t leak in windows or door cracks. Be safe. this works well and is easy to use.

The display is big and quite visible and the reading seem to be accurate. I like having one that is portable so I can take it while camping or carry it to various places around the house like the furnace room, etc. to check the carbon monoxide levels. Overall, I am pleased with this device and for a reasonable price.I hope this Portable Carbon Monoxide Detector lasts me a long time, but I will update my review should I have any trouble with it in the future.Thank you for reading! The operator's manual indicates the measuring range is "More than 1000PPM." The manual also states that the product's features are "Detection range not less than 1000PPM." The manual also states in the Operating instructions: "When the concentration is not lower than 150PPM, the instrument starts to alarm."So, how can the instrument sound an alarm if detection is not lower than 150PPM, if the detection range for the instrument is "More than 1000PPM" or "not less than 1000PPM"???By the specifications and parameters, the unit shouldn't detect and sound alarm until 1000PPM is detected, which by that time, I may be unconscious. Even if it did detect 150PPM, that's kind of a high threshold to begin detecting CO.

This Portable Carbon Monoxide Detector Battery Powered 3-in-1 meter tests for carbon monoxide, temperature and humidity. With have a gas range and fireplace at home, this meter allowed me to measure the CO levels in multiple places, rather than in one static location like the more permanent one we have plugged in between the kitchen and living room. The portability to measure ambient temperature and humidity are also helpful as my family is sensitive to air that's too dry. Glad I picked this up!
