I had another carbon monoxide detector before this one, and it was large and cumbersome. I often had small children drawn to the old one because of its size and they would push the button and set off the alarm. I bought this to replace that one, and it is the perfect size and there are no large buttons for children to push and set it off. I love this one!

Works great, just plug it in. We had a combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector, and the thing started going off changed batteries and an hour later it was going off again, called the fire department and they said we had 0% carbon monoxide, that the detector was bad and to get a plug in CO only. This one is great

Today I went out to my driveway and started my car to let it heat up, which was backed up close to my house. As I went in the nearby door a bit of exhaust from my car wafted into my house and it set this carbon monoxide detector off which was in the next room. It buzzed and the numbers went up to 45. I opened a window and it quickly dissipated and the numbers went down to 0, but nice to know it works and is so sensitive. The other smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector I have on the other wall did not go off. Glad I got this. Also like that the number display is so big.

I really enjoy that this unit is a plug-in, electric carbon monoxide detector. This is so much easier than having to constantly having to replace the batteries. The unit plugs directly into an outlet and was easy to set up. I like that the unit includes and displays the temperature and humidity for the area where it is located. The unit being digital is a plus for me, easy to read! I have measured the temperature and humidity against other devices and it’s pretty accurate. It really is easy to use, kind of just plug it in, go away and let it do its thing. The set up took just a few minutes, turn on the device by plugging it into a wall outlet, press the O button to switch between Celsius (C) and Fahrenheit (F), short press the D button to turn on off off the alarm buzzer, and pressing the H button to adjust the brightness from high to off, easy peasy! The digital display is very easy to read, I have it plugged into an outlet near the floor and have no issues seeing the display during the day or evening. The self test button reminds you that the unit is functioning. Finally, the calibration of temperature, humidity and carbon monoxide values took about 30 minutes. Almost forgot, I really like the size of the unit. My only complaint of the unit is I would have liked a longer service life, it states approximately 5 years, the unit it replaced is a Kidde and has a service life of 10 years.

It’s always a good idea to have an CO2 monitor somewhere in the house and this one is a nice one. Though overall its compact size, the display is nice and large and easy to read from across the room. Using it is very easy too— there’s not much to it: just plug in and let it monitor the air. There’s only 3 buttons on front to change temp unit, display brightness, and alarm audio level. I like the simplicity and that it doesn’t try to do too many things, as I mainly just need it to monitor CO2. One nitpick with my particular unit: the way the power prongs attach is my twisting into the back and locking in place. My unit has a small defect in the lock tab to it doesn’t quick click into place, but it still holds enough to work but not as securely as I’d like. The Inkbird Plus carbon monoxide monitor arrived on time. I love that you can adjust the brightness to suit your environment. The display is large and well-lit, so it is easy to read; the unit directions are very clear and easy to understand. You can change from Celsius to Fahrenheit with the push of a button. The unit will also do self-diagnosis with the push of one button. If you need a carbon dioxide monitor, I recommend this device.
