i can't really give it 5 stars because it hasn't saved my life yet so i don't know if it works but i will anyways. nice display easy to read. nice having the temp on there. i use mine in the garage for when i'm running a propane heater just to keep an eye on the readings. seems like a good product at a good price. i would buy again

My house is undergoing extensive renovations. Some rooms and areas of the house don’t yet have carbon monoxide detectors. These portable detectors work well to protect these areas of my house that would otherwise be temporarily unprotected. I also used one of these detectors in a rental property when the primary detector failed. For the price, they are very nice to have.

Put this in the furnace room of my house and seems to be working as it should. This just adds another level of piece of mind for me and my family. This is a small unit which is nice and not needing batteries is a huge plus. Would order again

Trying to find a way to test if it is working for CO. The temperature displayed is off by 4 degrees so I'm not very confident.

Our Kidde brand Carbon Monoxide detector was getting on in age (5 years) so we decided to grab this one as it looked all inclusive of the latest features. Not disappointed at all, it is truly plug and play. The display is great in that it shows the temperature and humidity along with the CM levels. I like seeing the CM levels being 0000 :)

I have done a couple of reviews on carbon monoxide detectors already and this one is at the top of the list. Installation could not be easier - you simply identify the location that has an available wall socket and you plug it in, allow it to test itself and leave it be. The LCD readout will allow you to monitor the CO levels, temperature, and relative humidity. There is an amber LED for any faults that may be present, a red LED for when it is in alarm mode, and the green LED to indicate that the unit is functioning normally and monitoring.There is a test function button which will allow you to hear the alarm and make sure that everything is working correctly. Also, if the alarm is going off - you can press that button to silence the alarm. Keep in mind - carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless - if the alarm is going off, immediately get out until you can make sure that the CO levels are safe. Carbon monoxide is very dangerous and nothing to mess around with. This detector is very affordable and can easily accomodate you on travel.My grading scale:5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park, PERFECT BUY!4 Stars = Excellent find, you should definitely give it a shot.3 Stars = It works and functions as advertised.2 Stars = A little scary, but do your research and it may work out.1 Stars = Avoid this product and look elsewhere.All of my reviews are based on actual use of the product.
