It works. That's the only reason why I gave it 3 stars.Color temperature is far too cool. I was expecting something warmer. The spectrum reminds me of florescent light.It's very bright and harsh. I plugged it into a dimmer but that doesn't work very well and is only a very temporary kludge.Bottom line, avoid this thing. There's got to be better designed ones out there for the same money.Build quality seems fine but it's just not a competitive product for the money.As soon as I have the time to do enough research to find a better one this is going to Goodwill.No, I do not recommend it to anyone unless you just want a light and don't really care about anything else.

This light really lights up the picture very well but there is a design flaw: it doesn’t turn down enough so the light blinds you if you look in that direction. I put some black electrical tape to help shield the light from pointing outward and it does the trick.Photo 1: tape is half on (right) half off (left). I really like this lamp, I just wish the lightbulb wasn’t so bright. It’s not as warm as I thought it would be.

I was looking for a corded picture light because the rechargeable ones will likely just be very annoying and unreliable. This was installed in under 5 minutes, the hardware fits wonderfully behind my painting and it added that extra elevation I was seeking. It would be nicer if it tilted but I don’t find the light blinding or annoying like others stated, it actually lights up my dining room beautifully and warmly for that cozy elegant feeling letting my painting steal the show. I put the light on a smart plug so it turns on and off itself on a schedule, I plan on hiding the wires inside the wall like you do with a mounted tv, even thought my painting and flowers cover the wire for the most part and it isn’t an eye sore. For the price I think it’s a good buy in comparison to professional grade ones that cost upward of $200. I’m pleased with the light and will be buying more. To the people who are sad it doesn’t dim, they do sell dimmer switches that can fix your issue. My biggest recommendation to the manufacturer is to make one with a tilt option but the lack of tilt isn’t enough for me to dislike this light, I am really enjoying this addition to my home.

You get what you pay for. It's inexpensive and functional but not flexible. I used black electrical tape to cover some of the light because it shows too much bulb and is distracting. It's cheap so be mindful of its limitations.

Nice product, was excited to put it up. Plugged it in and it is very cool, and very bright, reflects brightly on frame glass. Package says warm, so this was disappointing as it was very obviously cool compared to my warm lights, had to return

I play a fair amount of darts and was looking for something to use to provide more light on my board. I am not a fan of those traditional circular lights that go around a dart board, so I decided to try this. This is perfect for my needs. I hung this above my board, and it provides the ideal amount of light without any sort of glare.

I was worried that this wasn't going to work out as I bought it for the inside of my curio cabinet. IT WORKS GREAT! Not a blinding light as tube bulbs give off. It's subtle and pleasing to the eye and the longer width spreads light throughout the cabinet rather than one extremely bright spot at the top. Love it!
