HOW IT WORKS
Based on the characteristics of suspended solids in water, using the pumping pressure of the pump, the suspended solids in water are transported to the filtration system, which is successively filtered by the filter material to capture the coarse and fine debris, so as to achieve the purpose of filtration.

I was searching for a pond filter that was powerful, easy to maintain with a top-access media tray, didn’t require total disassembly to clean out, and had anti-clogging features that could handle heavy debris.This filter ended up being EXACTLY what I needed for my duck’s 150gallon pool. Instead of having to drain and refill a mud pit every few days, this filter has been able to keep the water clear for nearly 2 weeks with very little maintenance. The top-open access to the sponge and brush media allows me to simply pull the filtration material out for a quick rinse every few days without having to get wet to remove hoses or connectors. The powerhead that came with it pushes a ton of water and the strainer keeps feathers and sticks from getting clogged into the impeller. I did have to modify one of the internal separator trays by drilling a lot more holes in it to allow more unobstructed water flow into the sponge. I ended up using a gutter drain tube for the outlet.The simple design was easy to modify for my needs and does exactly what I needed it to do.

Still waiting for a replacement bulb as mine was broken, also the filter seems to be missing a piece inside the pump as the water is not filtering through as it shows it should.

Today, after the installation of your product, the base will leak a little bit, which means that it can not be used, a waste of money, I do not know what to do? The price is very expensive, and the quality is not guaranteed.

Although it requires manual cleaning , this is the best filter for my small koi pond. Always full flow, Crystal clear water , healthy koi and all is good . Go brush filtration! Superior to any pressurized filter!However! I installed several of these filters and all transformers died. I tried to reach the manufacturer with no success . I installed a second reliable UV light and bypassed the dead one, and all is very clean again.

the water outlet is some special size fitting that NOTHING can connect to-a very poor feature because you cannot hide the box behind rocks and extend the water outlet back to the pond. I went to 4 plumbing stored and a pool/spa store. Nothing fits this water outlet.

From the picture, I know that the filter has 6 filter brushes, and can also DIY filter materials, which is very interesting and makes me feel confident about the filtering ability of the filter. I will try to use it.
