I was surprised at these bookends. They are very sturdy, while still being attractive and not overly heavy. They do an excellent job of holding up a full shelf of books, and at a reasonable price.

These are as advertised. If you have ever been to a library or book store that uses book ends, you've prob seen these or something like them. This is my favorite type of bookend cause it doesn't slide and you can adjust it to any book.

They're fairly heavy duty and are great for the price. Large thin or floppy books don't hold up well with just the book holders, but over all it holds most of my books in place no problem. I think next time I'd get bookends that are a little taller to suit my needs better. These will work for now!

I have a rather large collection of books. The book shelves (in two rooms) are white. These bookends are very sturdy and functional and just kind of disappear on my shelves. Perfect!

These are exactly as I was expecting in terms or weight and size. There are other more stylish bookends available but are considerably more expensive. These get the job done without a single issue and they're very affordable

I don't get paid by Amazon to post a favourable post nor do I care about those doubting posts. My post is HONEST and I can and do state, that the bookends are sturdy, holding heavy books without losing their grip.Many of my heavy books are softcover which are unmanageable without the book ends. Don't pay attention to those negative posts, I promise you will benefit from them too.
