These are X-Large book ends. The roll of paper towels are a reference to the length. Very sturdy and will hold up a lot of weight. 2 sets are included. The price is a little high but I must say they are well made and worth the cost.

We are using these for records so we didn’t want to block the records fully with a bookend. These are very sturdy and don’t move at all (they’re holding about 30 pounds of records between them) and very non distracting.

Do pay attention to the size - these bookends are quite large! Fortunately for me, I have some large books that need to be wrangled so these should work out well for me. They are quite heavy and feel very sturdy. I think they'll work well for holding books up. They're even big enough to hold things like records if that's what you've got on your self.
