These bookends are very well made and are very sturdy. They are heavy enough to hold books in place with no problem. They also look great with the back against the wall with the dragon's head facing out, like a statue. These are really nice.

I love dragons and I love books. So when I saw these dragons designed to corral books - well they are wonderful. They are heavy so they definitely can hold books up. The grey fit with my shelves nicely. I did drop a star because the dragon horns on one of the dragons is missing some of it's color and the bottom of one of them is missing a felt pad. But these are minor. I love the look on my book shelves and the details in the design of the dragons.

We have a room in the house that has a bit of a dragon theme going on, with a few large dragon statues. We just hung up a pewter-look dragon head that is very siminlar in design to these bookends, so I couldn't resist ordering them. They are made of resin painted with silver and black highlights, which gives them a the look of pewter. They are a decent weight, but they're not heavy enough to use with oversized books (they're fine for normal sized novels). The detail in the dragon head and borders is excellent. They would make a nice gift for people who are into medeival/celtic decor, but they come in a plain brown cardboard box. The price to quality ratio for these dragon bookends is excellent.

I got these for my son and he absolutely loves them! He is a big Lord of the Rings fan as well as an avid player D&D and MTG, so these fit his interests well. They are sturdy, well built, and the size is perfect.

These are reasonably solid resin bookends. They're not quite as heavy as I would have expected but they get the job done. I have them holding up a big stack of hardbacks and i haven't noticed any slipping. Plus they look cool. If you have a fantasy-themed shelf then these would fit in really well.
