This is an absolutely gorgeous set. It can be heated or chilled. The handles on the pitcher are so NICE (no more burnt fingers from handling a hot sake carafe). And the carafe holds enough sake that I don't have to keep refilling it during the meal. The ceramic is sturdy and beautifully constructed (looks handmade), and the glaze is really, really handsome as well. Grateful to have it in the sushi/sake kit. It's truly a work of art.

This is a small sized sake set (maybe 100 ml for the bottle?) that would be perfect for a display cabinet. I think you can use it for serving but it's so cute that I wouldn't want to. The box isn't very fancy, just a black box with the label on the side. The cups are very pretty, with a gold accent along the rim. The color isn't solid white, but rather white with a fine crackle from the glaze (you have to hold it to your face to notice it). Looks very nice.

Great Price..Got it very fast and was boxed very neatly. Also, I got a few of those cats in Piggy (Cat) Bank versions.
