Yes, this costs a LOT more than the cheap ruler feet you can buy. But it works. It lines up perfectl on my high shank 6600P. It glides over the fabric instead of digging or getting too high because it has springs. If you want to be frustrated, get the cheap $7 ruler foot and have fun. If you want something that works perfectly, get the Janome original.

I cannot believe I didn't buy this before! It makes my quilting squares have a perfect 1/4" seam. It is even easier when the pattern calls for a scant. I bought my daughter one when I realized how much easier it was to make quilt blocks. You would not use this for sewing except to sew seams. It otherwise pushes your fabric.
