I think this is the best zipper foot ever. I also use it making pipping for handbags. Just takes a screwdriver to attach, thats not a big deal for me. The foot stays put and holds the fabric securely in place. For the price this was well worth it

It is advertised to work on Kenmore sewing machines it doesn't fit my kenmore!
