Not only is it great for eggs, pancakes, etc, but flip it over and the grill is great for cooking steak, hamburgers, pork chops, etc. The best part is if it fits in your toaster oven, that flat side cooks a perfect pizza crust, having placed it inside when you preheat the oven. It has a great non-stick surface.

Nice weight but not as heavy as a cast iron grill/griddle. Quality is great and i feel it a really good value. The size is perfect for my stove top. Cleaning is a breeze even when the blood from the meat is burnt on. Definitely will not rust as cast iron. I will definitely buy another one for camping.

Gotham Steel Grill Pan – 10.5” Square Aluminum Grill Pan with Nonstick Surface, Sear Ridges and Stainless Steel Handle, Dishwasher and Oven SafeThis grill pan did a very good job cooking my food. To me the food taste like it was grilled. The only thing that I did not like was the handle. I wish that they had put a cover over it.This would had made it more compatible holding it in your hand and more grip to hold on to.I use it on my 2 burner camp stove, and it worked perfectly on top of the burnerI did add a little oil to it, probably did not need to. Clean up was a breeze. I was outside and did not have a sink to clean it in, so I first wipe it down with a paper towel.I also had (2) 8 oz spray bottle container that I use to clean up my dishes while camping.1 8 oz spray bottle was filled with water and dishwasher soap and the other 8 oz spray bottle just had clean water. This is a good way to clean your dishes off when you are not near a sink.Spray pan with soapy water, then wipe down with paper towel. Now spray on your clean water and dry it with paper towelYou should be good to go to you get home.

SEE UPDATE BELOW: Worked great the first few times, now everything sticks to it and you can’t even scrape it all off.UPDATE: I decided to educate myself, to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong and ladies, you're hearing it here first, a man is admitting he was wrong! I saw a poor review on another pan, from another company, but the company replied with info that sounded logical and worth a try. Before I get to what they said to do, I want to list a couple things that I did wrong, that you are absolutely not supposed to do with this type of pan. In all of my searching, these 2 issues were always said to be avoided.1. Do not cook with high heat, low to medium only.2. Do NOT use cooking spray, it caramelizes and builds up on top of the ceramic coating. Now, as long as you haven't destroyed the pan while trying to get the stuck food off of it, follow these steps and see if you can restore it, like I just did with mine. I even tested it with bacon immediately after and it was back to super easy, non-stick cooking and sponge cleanup.Fill the pan half way with water, heat it just to boiling point (remember, no high heat), let it stay at that point for 2 minutes. Empty the pan and immediately repeat. After the next 2 minutes are up, empty the water and place the pan on a spot that you can work on it easily. The "magic" now comes from a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Wet the eraser and moderately scrub the pan (a few places I had to scrub pretty hard, but not for long). You will soon see the caked on build up (and discoloring) start disappearing. You may need to rinse the eraser and move to cleaner parts of it, but keep scrubbing. Within 4-5 minutes, my pan looked new (except for a couple scratches I put in it, while trying to scrape stuck food out of it). Once it looks new, wash it with soap and sponge as usual. I hope this helps someone, as it did for me!

This pan is amazing! Actually, I have been happy with every Gotham Steel pan I've purchased and this wasn't an exception. I have used it many times since I received it and not always very gently. I do recommend keeping the heat to medium. Don't try and make it flaming hot like you would a cast iron skillet. You will get a lovely sear on whatever you are cooking, even at the medium temperature. But what that will do is keep it from permanently marring the pan. I have another Gotham Steel skillet that I was in a rush, turned it up too high, and burned the bijiggers out of it. But guess what? It cleaned up nicely anyway, despite my abuse. It took a bit more elbow grease on that one, and there were some touch and go moments, but it worked! This one I've actually finished the burgers, steaks, and fish, with black stuff all over the pan (because of whatever marinade etc was on the food). Hot water and soap and absolutely no elbow grease, and all was clean. I love Gotham Steel!!! Their products have made my life so much easier! This grill pan is a very nice size. Quite large. But not enormous and not the least bit heavy (again, referencing cast iron skillets). You can fit quite a bit in this pan. I have their square skillet without the ridges and this one is a bit bigger than that one (just in case someone out there has the square skillet and was wondering about the size difference). I use the square skillet without ridges for things like scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. and this one for grilling vegetables and meats when I want the grill lines on the food. It makes nice grill lines.Anyway, I love this pan. I've owned it about 2 1/2 months and have used it quite often. Yet, it still looks as pretty as the day it arrived!
