NEW BATTERY COMPARTMENT NOTICE

It's floppy and doesn't lock well, but reads decently. May want to consider a second, smaller one as well in your purchase. Helpful tool.

El producto esta bien, el problena??? Me enviaron uno que NO ERA EL DE LA MEDIDA QUE SOLICITÉ (500 mm) , llegó uno de 200 mm, quise devolverlo pero solo devolvian el valor del producto y no el envío. MAL

Wasn't sure if this would help on a large project I had, but figured it wasn't a pile of moneyI got it and it took about two minutes to activate it and understand how to use it ...very functionalZeroing option is great for creating random and repeatable angles. Very sturdy in my hands, so I wasn't worried about abusing itI got the 24 inch unit, and that might be a consideration because for tighter spaces/smaller projects it might be too big.For the money, I'll buy another one but smaller and have most everything coveredI'm a tool junkie, but I think I'll use this more than other"specialty" tools I own

Excellent quality...this tool or one like it is necessary to do good workmanship when installing crown moulding in a home. This is what I'm using it for and should be cared for like any fine instrument which it is.

This thing is pretty cool - my only complaint is the plastic tension screw - seems like it should be metal - since I probably tighten it down too much - the angle does tend to change .1 deg or so when I lift it to transfer a scribe - I'm not a carpenter - just a guy trying to build a deck...I checked the accuracy with a speed square - dead on (well - at least for the 90' angle...)

I purchased all 3 sizes of these and could not be happier. They work as described. You zero it and whenever you need to use it the accuracy is still there.

great tool to have to find accurate angles. with the 500MM version, it makes it easy to mark long lines with the angle without having to move the tool to complete the line, comes with a battery and is very simple to use. love it
