It’s difficult to measure a gallon of gas for mixing in my steel (not see through) small motors mixed gas can. So by putting my measured quantity of oil in the can first, then filling this container to the 1 gallon line, i poor into the gas can a measured amount of gas. This ensures the proper mix of gas and oil every time!

I used mine to melt tar for crack sealing and it is holding up great. If it can take the punishment I am giving it then it will be great for Oil.

I bought this item to pour sand into cracks on an asphalt driveway; AFTER I filled the cracks with an Elastomeric crack filler, SO you could drive on the driveway without getting crack filler on your tires and shoes. Worked great.
