AN line sizing is based off of 16th inch increments, a – 8 line should be 8/16”, or 1/2 “ID, these are much smaller actually more like a typical – 6 line. That being said they seem to be very nice. The fittings look good.

I've used half a dozen kits from Evil Energy so far for various projects and customer cars. This 8AN line kit comes with nearly everything you'll need to plumb a supply line, although you might need a slightly longer kit if you have a very long car in order to plumb the return as well. If you did supply and return with this kit, that's only 10ft each way going from the tank and around obstacles up to the FPR.The fittings have not had any leak issues. When I first started I used tutorials on youtube to learn the techniques for PTFE lines, which are a little more involved than standard braided line. I use dedicated aluminum AN wrenches and vise soft jaws, but when I started I just wrapped wrenches in electrical tape and used wooden soft jaws to not mar up the aluminum fittings.I really like this covered line, I feel like it makes the engine bay look less cluttered, and slides better over surfaces without scratching other parts.

I've used quite a lot of various fittings and supplies from EE. Never had a problem.Gotta admit there is SOME kind of missing "X-factor" with their stuff compared to the (much) more expensive brands like Russel, Earls or Aeroquip; but they all get scratched up after a bit of use and then it's a total non-issue.Every EE fitting I've assembled/used has fit properly and sealed reliably. I will continue to use.
