its 4an on the inside and 6an on the outside, will not fit in any 4an fittings. not ptfe, DO NOT BUY

probably not the product... just if your an amatuer with not an amazing shop and tools and hose fitting apparatus.... DON'T get steel braid 4an or lower. 6an ONLY WORKED if used the superglue method. 4an and lower; you will NEVER get the nut on hose to start creating your fitting.4an and lower Tried every trick in the book. Tapes, superglue.. everything.. not a chance in hell of getting nut on. 6an and up with superglue method works fine.DONT GO STEEL BRAID for 4an and lower..if your stuck and its a very low pressure 3-5lb you mighttttt (have my doubts. will report back_) can mayyybe get away with cutting away the braid enough to fit nut on rubber hose part only .... put shrink rap on hose and slide it out of the way...... install your nut on the rubber part only. Tape the shiat out of the end of nut/braid to keep from getting cut with the steel braids. Slide up the shrink rap to cover this so it looks nice. Finish assembly.OTHERWISE.... DONT DO IT (4an and lower with Steel braid) 6an and up works ok using superglue method.

I bought some of the 1/4” hose but I couldn’t get a 1/4” tube into the hose.

This new radiator needed an upgrade so the SS always looks and lasts much longer than common rubber hose. I also got the fittings from Amazon to plumb the new radiator.
