I have a 1970 Beetle with a 1600 engine. This line is the real deal. The genuine cloth covered TOUGH line that we all want in our cars. One order of three feet does the entire fuel line system in the engine compartment. I had some other poor quality line that I had in reserve to use -- and it's this sort of glossy looking stuff and SOFT. If you have any of that kind, throw it away. I've had my car for 27 years now. Once you've replaced your old line with this IAP (German line) you'll feel good. And safe. And remember, make sure you are using clamps on all of your connections.

It fit perfectly in my old vespa fuel system. Flexible enough. I will recheck in few months to see if it stiffened.
