It’s actually not even 6mm, it’s slightly less than that. It’s about 5.5mm or 0.22”. And the overall diameter isn’t 1/2”, it’s 12mm or 0.47”. (That one is as advertised.)This probably won’t make much of a difference, but you’re gonna have to push extra hard to get it on a barb fitting. But it should be OK once it’s on.

I believe this is a 6mm And I should’ve ordered 5 mm. But I just clamped it down and it hasn’t been leaking.

Fuel hoses and filters go bad all the time, especially with the low quality of gasoline being sold in the past few years.. I highly recommend that you replace the fuel lines and filters every 3-5 years under routine maintenance.. I was skeptical with the price of this complete kit fuel hoses, filters, and clamps, but after use this kit is phenomenal.. I consider it a MUST HAVE ITEM!! Excellent quality, durability, craftsmanship, at an unbelievable price..
