Realmente no son las de óxido negro, son las "Black and Gold". Tienen un excelente filo y una variedad de diámetros bastante convenientes.Las he usado tanto para metal como para madera y plástico. En el caso de la perforación en madera, hay que tener buen pulso si la idea no es atravesarla. Si quieres hacer un orificio sólo hasta cierta profundidad, hay que tener cuidado ya que la broca y el filo jalan la mano bastante fuerte.Me encanta la calidad y los diseños de DeWalt.

DeWalt bits are always solid. Not always the absolutely best available but it's hard to beat their value, especially when on sale. This kit provides a nice range of sizes and came very sharp. The interlocking cases are also appreciated as it makes organizing with my other DeWalt bits easy.

This is a really good quality drill bit set at a remarkable price. I started looking for a small case to keep drill bits organized, and I soon found out it was about as cheap to buy a set of drills with a case, as to buy a case for existing drill bits. So I ordered this: case, bits and all, and I am so pleased that I did. The bits are very professionally sharpened with relief ground into the bits to make them easier to push through the target metal (or wood), they are very sharp, and they should last a long time. The case is nice, and finally: the bits range up to 1/2 inch, which is so much handier than my old case that only went up to 1/4 inch. All this, with a recognized name like Dewalt on the case!

I had it for less than a minute on concrete construction (wall) and it has started to melt, which means it is not safe for all purposes, I had to replace it with my old 'Bosch' which I found it very satisfying. For an honest opinion don't waste your money on this.

Great variety of bits with great durability. Clear sizing written inside. The case is overall solid and durable.The only case weak point I found is the clasp part that keeps the case shut (mine broke). I store this loose in a rolling tool box that i wheel to job sites and so it perhaps takes more of a beating so to speak than most. Due to the clasps movable nature and style of attachment it is a main piece that can be damaged and leave the case unable to close - which is a risk for losing pieces.Just be careful with how you place and carry these things for longevity of use as they aren’t quite as rock solid as they appear.
