This beginner kit makes a rather large bee that is very cute.It comes with everything you need to complete the project and everything included is of good quality.Definitely watch the video tutorial if you're a first timer. Makes a big difference to just using the printed instruction and far easier to understand.Makes a great stocking stuffer or gift.

I really enjoyed the first kit I did and thought I would order another one. It was obvious that the product had been returned by a prior customer as the yarn had been cut in several places and the eyes were missing. I had to return it and ask for a replacement and hopefully I get one that has not been used or returned by a prior customer.

This is a fun little kit with everything you need to give it a try. It did not come naturally, but the little bee kit sure helped!

I have made many amigurumi in the past, but never a bee, and never using a kit. I was impressed at how thorough and clear the video instructions were. The written instructions were written according to standards and easy to follow. There was more than enough yarn in all three colors. The yarn is a woven tube, so it is easy to use without worrying about splitting the yarn. The yellow yarn had two large knots in it, meaning it was in three pieces tied together, and there was a 4-foot section that was shredded and unusable and had to be cut out, so in all there were four pieces. Still, there was more than enough, and the video instructions even included how to attach a new strand. The fiber fill was in an airless bag, so it was very flat. Even with extensive fluffing, I felt I needed to augment the stuffing from my stash. If you are okay with a very soft toy, you will be okay with the amount that was supplied. The only thing I would do differently than the instructions is I would sew the smile onto the face at the same time as I put in the eyes. By doing it after the bee is stuffed, as instructed, little fluffs of stuffing come out along with the needle and yarn. This is a good quality kit, but since it's made for an absolute beginner, I would expect each yarn ball to be single strand of completely useable yarn. For this reason, I deducted a star.

My friend wanted to learn to knit and decided I should help her, with no skill on my end. I got this kit and it was fun. Did my bee turn out perfectly? No. But he's still cute and I think with a few more kits, I might be able to make something pretty good eventually. And I still did better than my friend.

This a complete set to make this bee. It does come with a tutorial in a brochure and online how to crochet. However, the directions are not clear enough on how to make the bee body when the QR code was scanned. I thought this would be a good project for my mom who has crocheted her entire life to do with my son and it's turned out to be more difficult than easy. My mom is having to watch the video and decipher the text from the video. This is not for beginners.

This is a great set for anyone just starting out with crochet. It gives you easy to follow video instructions and a small starter project that's easy to complete. It makes such an adorable little bee.
