This darling crochet kit was too cute to pass up! The instructions were very well written, and the video was excellent for a beginner like me who needs clear and visible “show me” lessons. The yarn was soft and a delight to work with, the results adorable, and the box it came in would have been perfect for gifting had I gotten it for someone else.

I don't know why they say these kits are for beginners. Despite being an addicted crocheter since my teens (a long time!) I had to bumble around a bit while figuring out this pattern, but it was well worth it, as the fuzzy little animal that finally emerged is so incredibly cute.I have worked with several similar kits over the years, and have often been frustrated with the vague instructions, videos that aren't necessary in intelligible English, and the poor quality of the yarn and other materials. This kit is way better in so many ways. Well worth a little trial and error, ripping out and redoing, and even a little inappropriate language! Very cute in the end.

Cute little poodle to crochet. My mom enjoyed crocheting it and it turned out super cool and cute. Great for beginners or kids and adults. Great product. Highly recommend.

I've crocheted most of my life but amigurumi is new to me. So I got this adorable little dog. I think he's a poodle. I'm having fun crocheting him, however, I wouldn't say the kit was for a beginner. The instructions can be confusing and if you're a beginner, you will probably need to watch videos to understand these instructions. This would make a great gift.

My wife has been on a "let's see what we can crochet this week" kick for the past several months so I decided to giver her amigurumi obsession a bit of a boost. She loved the packaging and the instructions were very well written. It is a great beginners kit with everything they would need. The finished poodle was adorable as well.

The kit provides all the necessary materials and instructions to create a charming amigurumi dog. The pattern is well-detailed, and the accompanying tools and stuffing are of good quality.However, the downside is the quality of the yarn included in the kit. It falls short of the expected softness and texture that would enhance the overall appeal of the amigurumi dog. While the end product is cute, the meh-quality yarn somewhat affects the tactile experience when cuddling the plush.

My daughter has been seeing these DIY stuffed animal crochet kits all over & dying to learn. I myself know next to nothing about crochet but the kit is advertised as for beginners & also for children. I looked all over for an age range but couldn't find one but my daughter is most definitely older than the child in their listing images so I figured it would be doable.After attempting to start this I came to the conclusion... maybe we're not crochet people lol. Again, I've never done this, nor had my 9 year old daughter & we're both pretty crafty, but this felt overwhelming & confusing to begin. And don't get me wrong, I love a visual but I don't like having to rely on video directions so heavily. I wish the instructional booklet gave me more of a fundamental understanding or eased us into the process in a way that felt less daunting.Unsurprisingly, we haven't gotten very far with this project on our own. I don't think it's the best introduction into crocheting for children my daughters age either. We'll try again when reinforcements come in (my sister that can crochet).
