Don't know the reason why my belt damaged right away after I started my car, maybe bad luck receiving a defective product? I am sure my installation was correct and I double checked the belt position and alignment before I started my car...I have to put my old belt on, everything is good...

I originally replaced the serpentine belt in my 2007 Lexus ES350 with another, more expensive, USA made brand. However it started to squeak again after several months (even with pulley replacement). Decided to try this Bando - low price but could not identify where manufactured. I have been extremely pleased. Made in Japan- believe higher quality. Went on easily ( Lexus transverse mounted engine is tight - difficulty maybe 5.5/10 for this average backyard mechanic). Quiet now- happy I picked the Bando!

The vender I purchased it from was Dave's Discount Auto Parts. Belt was made in the USA and looked like it was made recently and not sitting on a shelf for 10 years (dusty, faded, and dried out). Good brand and a great price vs. a local auto store.
